Medical emergencies happen all the time in Vermont Tech Simulation Labs. This is where students learn to manage changes in patient condition. Practice in the simulation labs helps to improve patient safety by providing students with learning experiences that help them develop professional expertise.

On March 30, 2018 students from the Nursing and Respiratory Therapy programs came together for a learning event on the Williston campus. Students from St. Albans, Randolph, and Williston participated in this all day event. Students worked together to provide care to the patient who suffered a heart attack. Students worked together to provide care while learning about each other’s professional roles. This was the first interprofessional simulation event on the Williston campus to engage students from multiple programs.
