Vermont Tech Annual Fund
When giving to the Annual Fund, you support a critical component of Vermont Tech’s financial well-being; as it’s our largest annual revenue source outside of tuition. It is our greatest source of unrestricted support and supports the annual operations of the College. Every donation given to the Annual Fund has a direct impact on all students and affects all aspects of the student experience at Vermont Tech inside the classroom and beyond. It is essential to maintaining the College’s tradition of all-around excellence because it enables us to
- maintain small class sizes
- support faculty initiatives
- pursue diversity in the student body
- enhance our educational and athletic programs
- support specific departments and academic divisions
- addresses the college’s areas of greatest need and opportunity
Donations are used in the greatest area of need as determined by the College’s leadership.
Tanya Bou-Nacklie, EET 2010, donates to the Annual Fund because, “It feels so good to give back to the institution that helped me shape my career and accomplish my dreams.”
Scholarship Support
Vermont Tech has multiple scholarships and endowments in place to support the students to help them offset the financial burden of pursuing a college education. Your contribution will ensure students have access to Vermont Tech’s quality, higher education. You can learn more about the individual scholarships available on our online donation page where you can find more about the scholarships, endowments, and/or funds we offer – and you can even find the specific degree or program that you most resonate with and want to support.
As stated by an appreciative student, “[My scholarship helps…] me pay tuition and improve my own life so I can help improve the lives of others.”
Corporate Giving
Vermont Tech has a strong connection with the regional partners in the business community. Through sponsorship, charitable donation, and other types of support like Employer Partner Program, corporate partners are important to Vermont Tech’s continued success in providing career-focused, technical and professional education for immediate workplace success and continued learning. Opportunities like advertising on and off campus, publications, and events like the Knights Scramble Golf Tournament are ways in which we partner with our community businesses.
Matching Gifts
Corporate giving is also encouraged through the Matching Gift program. Many businesses and corporations offer a matching gift program for employees, retirees, and their family members – a wonderful way to double or even triple your gift amount. Contact your company’s personnel office for more information.
Planned Giving
Vermont Tech offers multiple ways to support the College and the students. Planned giving is another way in which you can show your commitment to Vermont Tech and our mission. Create a long-term plan through bequests, multi-year pledges, and/or gifts of real estate and other personal property. If you would like to learn more about any types of planned giving, please contact Dave Rubin, Associate Dean of Administration at david.rubin@vtc.edu.
Bequests
By including VTC in your will or retirement plan, you will help ensure that Vermont Tech lives on and will educate future generations of students for leadership and service.

Multi-year Pledges
A pledge allows you to fulfill your gift commitment over a period of time (usually not more than five years) based on an agreed-upon payment schedule. The College sends pledge reminders periodically.
Gifts of Real Estate & Other Personal Property
There are many creative and lasting ways to create your own legacy at Vermont Tech, some of which involve careful planning. Real estate or capital assets such as art, rare books, and antiques can often be beneficially gifted to the College.
Gifts of Securities, Mutual Fund or Stock Shares
Gifts of long-term appreciated securities and mutual fund shares may be deducted on your tax statement at fair market value on the date of the transfer to the College.
Together We’re Better
If you are one of our valued faculty or staff members, please consider supporting our “Together We’re Better” campaign by making a gift to the Annual Fund. We strive to have 100% faculty and staff participation in this important campaign. Gifts can be made directly or through payroll deductions. Faculty and staff donations have always been important to Vermont Tech, and we deeply appreciate your support.
