Learn more about athletics at Vermont State.
The Intercollegiate Varsity Athletic Program at Vermont Tech is an integral part of the whole educational experience for student athletes.
The athletic department strives to provide an athletic program of excellence for all students and provides an equal opportunity to compete at the local, regional and national level. The opportunity to compete on an athletic team for Vermont Tech is considered a privilege, and it comes with responsibilities. As a participant in athletics at Vermont Tech, student-athletes not only access voluntary learning experiences that involve opportunities beyond the traditional classroom setting, but those student athletes also serve as ambassadors to the school, other schools, and the community. Our aim is to develop competitive student athletes, but not to lose sight of the educational values and the attributes learned in athletics that contribute to the complete education of the individual.
