The Strategic Planning Committee met again on Tuesday, April 24th, with the goal of completing a draft version of the strategic plan for distribution to our community. Gratefully, that goal was accomplished.
The current draft has been uploaded to the Portal in the Category: 2018 Strategic Planning folder (requires login). This draft is in an early stage of development. It shows the framework for the document overall and includes some pieces from previous work as well as a few new items. For instance, it includes the existing Mission Statement from last year’s Institutional Priorities project and new drafts of a Vision Statement and Core Competencies.
When you have a moment, please review the plan for an update on our progress. I also asked for a feedback form so we can gather input on the current draft and our process to develop it. That form is available online as well.
Each head of the sub-plan committees has provided a status update on their respective projects. Those updates are embedded in the draft plan in Section 4.0 – Strategic Initiatives. Plan leads are identified with their updates, should you want to contact individuals with questions or comments.
