Any Randolph Union High School (RUHS) or Randolph Technical Career Center graduate from Braintree, Brookfield, or Randolph, Vermont who is accepted at Vermont Tech may apply for a significant scholarship from the Randolph Community Scholarship Fund renewable for four years.  Vermont Tech will match 25% of that scholarship in institutional funds.  Selections will be made by a RUHS committee in May.  Students are not eligible for the 25% match if they are receiving a tuition waiver.

Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund offers renewable, 4-year scholarships to students who are permanent residents of New England states, with financial need who display academic achievement, a commitment to serving others (in school, in the community or at home), a strong work ethic, and leadership qualities.

The Career & Technical Teacher Education Program is an approved Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) alternative educational licensing route for trades and industry teachers at Vermont’s secondary regional career and technical centers.

Typically, once a teacher is hired at a regional career and technical center, they enter this three-year program to complete the qualifications for a Vermont Level I Educator License. The teacher-candidate first obtains an apprenticeship license from the AOE, which requires at least a high school diploma and six years of experience in the trades or industry, or an associate degree and at least four years of experience. The teacher-candidate takes education courses and receives support during the next three years from the program.

Enrollment in these courses requires the permission of the Program Director.

This scholarship is open to MATHCOUNTS alumni who are currently seniors in high school or students pursuing a two-year or four-year degree at an accredited college or university.  The MATHCOUNTS Alumni Scholarship is a $3,000 award presented to an outstanding alumnus/a whose experience in a MATHCOUNTS program had an impact on his/her outlook on math and influenced his/her academic or professional pursuits. Created this year, this scholarship ensures that MATHCOUNTS can recognize the work of talented alumni and continue to expand their academic and professional opportunities.
