Tutoring is available for most courses taught at Vermont Tech and will be held fully online through Zoom for Fall 2020 semester.
The system for requesting tutoring has changed, so please read the details below:
Tutoring information and the request form are now located in a CAS Canvas Course which all students and faculty have access to. Log into the portal and it should show up in your Canvas Dashboard. It also has information about other Center for Academic Success services like Trio and counseling. Additional resources and information will be added as the semester progresses.
Once the tutoring request is made, the tutor will reach out directly to schedule a time and they will supply a zoom link.
We also offer drop-in tutoring sessions which are available without the need to make a request. These sessions are primarily for math and science courses and the schedules are posted on the “drop-in” page of the module.
If you are in need of writing tutoring, sessions are scheduled on an individual basis and will occur through Google Docs; these sessions are not drop-in. The tutor will call you for the appointment so that you can talk through your assignment. Please submit a tutoring request through the module for writing help.
If you require tutoring for your core courses, please submit a tutoring request and we will do our best to meet your needs.
If you have additional questions, please reach out directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
