The scholarship was left in the estate of Harriet Fellman, a longtime employee of Vermont Tech, who established the Frederick W. Martin Scholarship Fund in memory of her nephew. Recipients are selected by the Electrical Engineering Department Chair for maintaining at least a 3.5 average in freshman math and physics and for demonstrating excellence in lab work.
Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have a minimum 3.5 GPA in first-year math & physics
- Demonstrate excellence in laboratory work
- Be enrolled in the Electrical Engineering program
