This endowment scholarship was created in honor of the late Jimi Grant to help create opportunity for disadvantaged students to access education. This scholarship is designated to students in an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, renewable energy technology, civil and environmental engineering technology, architectural and building engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology or construction management to be disbursed over two years.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to college students in their pursuit of higher education. If you’ve battled a form of cancer yourself, or witnessed a loved one receiving treatment, we want to hear your story.

This scholarship is open to MATHCOUNTS alumni who are currently seniors in high school or students pursuing a two-year or four-year degree at an accredited college or university. The MATHCOUNTS Alumni Scholarship is a $3,000 award presented to an outstanding alumnus/a whose experience in a MATHCOUNTS program had an impact on his/her outlook on math and influenced his/her academic or professional pursuits. Created this year, this scholarship ensures that MATHCOUNTS can recognize the work of talented alumni and continue to expand their academic and professional opportunities.
Each month, Sallie Mae will award $1,000 to a recipient who registers for one of the company’s free plan for college tools available at SallieMae.com/planforcollege. The money can then be used towards tuition and fees at their current or future college or university.
