This course is a thorough study of the basic principles of physics. Topics include systems of measurement; dynamics, including motion, acceleration, forces producing motion, work, energy, and power; momentum and the conservation laws; statics, including concurrent and noncurrent forces; and fluids, including properties of gases, fluid pressure, density, buoyancy, and hydraulics.
