In this course, the student develops an understanding of site development construction. It includes the study of soil as a building material, including hands-on familiarity with soils and their characteristics, with a focus on compaction. It also includes the study of construction machinery, with a focus on cranes, as well as logistics planning and quality assurance/quality control.
