Curtis Ostler has joined the Vermont Tech staff as the Associate Dean of Resource Development. Curtis comes to the college after three years of leading development at ReSOURCE, a nonprofit community enterprise in Burlington, Barre, and Hyde Park, and five years at Norwich University as a Development Officer and Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations. Before Norwich, Curtis held executive positions in the business and manufacturing world, including almost ten years at WallGoldfinger as Director of Project Management and Vice President of Sales, and as Chief Operations Officer at Northridge Woodworking.

“I am very excited to join Vermont Tech in this role – it is the perfect blend of business and education, and I think that the culmination of my experience to date is a great fit with the needs of the college,” says Curtis.
A graduate of Johnson State College, Curtis has lived in Waterbury for the last 23 years and when not making connections and fundraising for Vermont Tech, he enjoys creative writing, woodworking, biking, home-brewing, basketball, cooking, and always spending time with his family.
