The Vermont Tech Dental Hygiene Clinic offers a range of services for patients interested in keeping their teeth healthy for a lifetime.
Located at our Williston campus, our dental hygiene students work with you in an educational setting, always closely monitored by their faculty. Because the care we provide is very comprehensive, appointments last longer than those you would experience in a traditional dental office. You should plan on a 2 to 3 hour appointment per visit. In most cases, more than one appointment is required to complete your dental hygiene care.

Preventative Services:
- a thorough evaluation of your medical/dental history
- comprehensive assessment of your oral health status as it relates to dental hygiene
- oral hygiene education
- removal of hard and soft deposits from your teeth
- flouride treatments, dental sealants and dental x-rays, if necessary

Infectious Disease Policy
The policy of the Vermont Technical College Dental Hygiene Department is to not discriminate on the basis that an individual has a chronic communicable disease. The curriculum provides thorough instruction in the most current principles regarding infection control and the U.S. Center for Disease Control Guidelines. All students and employees are expected to understand and adhere to these guidelines.
All patients are required to wear a mask to enter the building. Students and faculty will be wearing significant personal protective equipment so the clinic will be quite cool. Patients are advised to dress warmly and/or bring their own blankets to the clinic as we will are not able to provide them for patients.
