This scholarship is designed for Vermonters who have a gap in attendance of at least two years, and those with at least 40 existing college credits. This scholarship is for up to 30 credits in the 2021-2022 academic year for all undergraduate degree and certificate programs. Students who wish to take less than 30 credits are also eligible.

This scholarship is part of the state-funded Critical Occupations Scholarships and covers last-dollar tuition, meaning any remaining tuition owed after institutional, state and federal gift aid is applied. Combined aid may not exceed the student’s total cost of tuition, fees, institutional room and board (or budgeted living allowance if living off campus), and an allowance for books.

This scholarship is designed to support Vermonters transferring to Vermont Tech from an out-of-state institution, or those returning to Vermont Tech after exiting the college in 2020-2021. This program’s mission is to help students come “home” to Vermont or to complete their degree if they left college without finishing it in the last year. This scholarship is for the 2021-2022 academic year for all undergraduate degree and certificate programs.
