The VTC LPN Scholarship Fund was established by the Vermont State Colleges Board of Trustees. Scholarships are awarded to candidates who demonstrate both financial need and clearly presented professional goals. It is available to accepted students in the LPN program at all sites.

The Bob Williams Memorial Scholarship is given to a Vermont or New Hampshire resident who will study in the Diesel Power Technology Program.
Robert S. (Bob) Williams, II spent close to 50 years in the construction equipment industry. He was President and Owner of New England Equipment Company (the John Deere Industrial Dealer for Vermont and New Hampshire) for 15 years. Bob also worked for several Caterpillar dealerships and co-founded International Construction Equipment. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of the AGC of Vermont and Oxbow Technical School. Bob was passionate about the construction equipment industry, loved Vermont and felt strongly about helping young people get a start in their careers. The goal of this scholarship is to help a student interested in the construction equipment industry.

The Vermont Space Grant Consortium is pleased to announce a merit based scholarship competition for the current academic year. These Vermont Space Grant Scholarships, each worth $5,000, will be awarded on the basis of academic standing, letters of recommendation, and an essay detailing career goals. The scholarship funds are sent directly to the academic institutions to help the recipients attend an institution of higher education within the State of Vermont.
VTSGC Awards are funded by NASA’s National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program. The recipients are recognized for outstanding achievements as scholars. The purpose of this program is to establish a national network of universities with interests in aeronautics, space, and related fields; to encourage cooperation among universities, aerospace industry, and government; to encourage interdisciplinary training, research, and public service programs related to aerospace; to recruit and train professionals for careers in aerospace science; and to promote a strong science, mathematics, engineering, and technology educational base from elementary through university levels.
Applications should NOT be submitted before January 1st of the upcoming year. Upcoming Year Application Deadline: March 1 of the same year. Scholarships are not automatically renewable and awardees must complete all requirements when reapplying.
