School of Agriculture, Plant, and Animal Sciences Warren E. Preston Dairy Management Scholarship

This scholarship was established for the purpose of supporting Dairy Farm management students at Vermont Tech.  With the dissolve of the Vermont Agricultural Museum in Randolph Center, in memory of its founder, Warren E. Preston, this endowment was created to assist in continuing the education of future Vermont farmers.  Recipients of the scholarship must be a Bethel, Braintree, Brookfield, Randolph, Royalton, South Royalton, or Williamstown resident and is available to both degree and non degree students associated with the Dairy Farm Management program.

Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be a resident of Bethel, Braintree, Brookfield, Randolph, Royalton, South Royalton, or Williamstown
  • Have financial need
  • Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Plan to return to or begin farming
