“We’re delighted to have one of the 10 Road Pitch stops be in Randolph at Vermont Technical College, which hosts VtSBDC. It is a great way to highlight the college’s entrepreneurship spirit and connection to business,” VtSBDC State Director Linda Rossi said. “The college has a major and minor in entrepreneurship. And VtSBDC provides advice and training statewide to existing business owners and those thinking of launching a new business venture.”

The Fresh Tracks Road Pitch competition sends business bikers on a five-day motorcycle trip around Vermont to listen to entrepreneurs’ business ideas. Riders consist of entrepreneurs, angel investors, proven business advisers, venture capital investors, and business academics familiar with start-up and early stage companies. They provide advice, contacts, and resources to help these companies grow and succeed. The public is invited to attend.

“We are very excited to be coming back to Randolph again this year,” said Road Pitch founder Cairn Cross. “We expect to have 35 plus riders in attendance in Randolph. Our riders have a wide variety of experiences starting, owning and operating businesses in many different industries. They can help entrepreneurs craft a winning strategy and find the resources they need to be successful.
