Residency Requirements for In-State Tuition
Criteria and procedures to determine in-state residency for tuition purposes are required. In-state tuition rates apply to students who have maintained legal residence in Vermont for at least one continuous year prior to enrollment. Initial residency is determined when a student applies for admission to Vermont Tech. Out-of-state students who feel they qualify for in-state residency must submit a completed Application for In-State Tuition.
If you believe you qualify for in-state residency as defined in the Vermont State Colleges’ Residency Policy, please complete Vermont Tech’s Application for In-State Tuition.
