The Internet of Things (IoT) is an ever-growing matrix of devices that collect and upload data for specific consumption. Cellphones and computers are the obvious parts of the IoT, along with electronic assistant devices like the Amazon Echo and Siri. The IoT also includes home built devices like smart mirrors and Jim Waite’s Personal Weather Station. Jim finished this ambitious project while working full time at IBM.
