Our Camp Experience
During the five days at the Rosie's Girls program we had multiple challenges and tasks to complete everyday. We also had multiple projects that carried on through out the week. We had to build critter crossings, find our most important values and chop it down into only five values. We also had to build this website and make various arts and crafts things like the spaghetti and gumdrop towers.
Surveying
We learned many different guidelines and duties of construction managers and many other construction and surveying job details.
Environmental Engineering
During this class we learned what the true jobs of what engineers do and deal with. We also learned many terms that explained what happens when our rivers are not in good condition, along with that we also found a way to create and physically build critter crossing models that would prevent car-animal collisions.
Leadership
Through out the week we were continuously learning and developing better leadership skills.
Lessons Learned
Every day of the week was full of eye-opening and jaw dropping information that we found within ourselves and within others.
