GW Plastics Frederic Riehl Scholarship Program

The GW Plastics Frederic Riehl Scholarship Program offers an annual $8,800 scholarship and a paid summer internship to selected candidates from the Mechanical Engineering Technology and Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering Degree Programs.

BSN Nursing Academic Progression Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to BSN students who are graduates of the Vermont Tech PN and/or ADN programs in 2008 or after.  $1,000 will be awarded each semester that the BSN student is enrolled in 6 credits or more.

Transfer Housing Scholarship (Randolph Campus Only)*

Transfer students entering in fall 2022 and meeting the following criteria will receive free housing for one academic year (maximum of two semesters). This scholarship is not combinable with a VSCS tuition waiver.

The VAST Forward Scholarship is awarded to VAST graduates who return to Vermont Tech within one year of graduating from the VAST program.   The scholarship is in the amount of $2,000 per year and is renewable up to 3 years when a student maintains a cumulative 2.5 GPA.  However, the VAST Forward scholarship may not be combined with other full and/or half tuition scholarships, such as the Valedictorian/Salutatorian, VTC 2+2, or, Full Tuition Waivers.

Randolph Community Scholarship Fund

Any Randolph Union High School (RUHS) or Randolph Technical Career Center graduate from Braintree, Brookfield, or Randolph, Vermont who is accepted at Vermont Tech may apply for a significant scholarship from the Randolph Community Scholarship Fund renewable for four years.  Vermont Tech will match 25% of that scholarship in institutional funds.  Selections will be made by a RUHS committee in May.  Students are not eligible for the 25% match if they are receiving a tuition waiver.

In support of the FIRST mission, Vermont Tech is offering a merit-based scholarship in the amount of $5,000, to a high school senior or an incoming transfer student who has participated on a FIRST team during their junior or senior year of high school. This scholarship may be utilized for any undergraduate course of study at Vermont Tech. The scholarship is renewable up to a total of $20,000 for four years, contingent upon maintaining a 3.00 GPA. Each recipient must meet the regular academic requirements for admission to the college.

A half-tuition scholarship is provided to any individual who can provide proof of Valedictorian and Salutatorian status from a Vermont public school, approved independent school, or recognized independent school. Students must have graduated from high school within the last 10 years and graduated in a class of at least 10 students. The scholarship is for Vermont residents and is renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters provided the student remain enrolled full-time and maintain a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Determination of Valedictorian/Salutatorian will be based on the graduating school’s standard practice and receipt of spring semester grades consistent with historical academic performance.
