Randolph Late New Student Orientation

This is an abbreviated orientation for new students and their parents/guardians who were either admitted late to Vermont Tech or who were unable to attend one of the June orientations. Information on IT, campus facilities, where and who to contact,, billing, scheduling, etc. are all covered during this abbreviated orientation that will prepare students for the start of classes Monday, August 19.
  • Resident students from this orientation session may move into their rooms Thursday. 
  • Commuter students attend from 1pm until approximately 8pm.
  • Parent sessions for this orientation are from 1:00p.m.-5:00p.m. These sessions are extremely helpful and important for parents of new students to Vermont Technical College.
This orientation is immediately followed on Friday, August 16 by Welcome Weekend.  All new students at the Randolph Center Campus, from orientations in both June and August, should plan to attend Welcome Weekend.

SCHEDULE


9a.m.-1p.m. Resident student may move into their rooms.Students who do not
yet have their picture ID can go to Campus Security in the Administration building to do so.

Noon-1:00pm  Lunch is available in Morey Dining Hall. 
There is no charge for students. Family members who wish to eat at the dining hall can purchase a lunch ticket at check-in for $6.00.

1:00pm-1:30pm  Welcome from the Academic Dean and Vermont
Technical College President. In Conant 102.

1:30pm-4:00pm Information and Q&A with Financial aid, student billing,
tutoring, campus life, public safety and athletics. Conant 102.

4:00 Parents may depart or visit offices, the Bookstore, have dinner on or off
campus with their sons and daughters at 5:00.

4:00-5:00  Student IT trainings. In Clark Hall

5:00pm-6:00pm  Dinner in Morey Dining Hall 
(No charge for students. $8.20/pp for others)

6:00pm-8:00pm  Student only sessions
