I came to Vermont Tech in 2009 as a student in the Dairy Farm Management program. Upon gaining my associate degree, I continued on for two years in the Business Management program to earn my bachelor’s degree. I worked on the college farm the entire time I was a student and started working as a full-time employee in my last semester of college.
I grew up in southern New Hampshire but always had a passion for farming and animals. My first visit to Vermont Tech led me directly into the barn and I knew this was where I needed to be. My favorite part of my job is being able to manage and share the daily activities with the students and I enjoy watching them achieve their goals and learn on the farm. Personally, I enjoy all aspects of the farm from working in the barn with the animals to equipment operation and maintenance as well as working in the maple sugaring operation. In my down time I enjoy being an outdoor enthusiast. Some of my personal hobbies include, hunting, fly fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing. I cherish time spent with family and friends.
