VAEL breaks Ground on Vermont Tech Campus

On Tuesday, January 30th President Patricia Moulton was joined by Governor Phil Scott to help break ground on a new building site. 

After the Vermont Agriculture and Environmental Lab (VAEL) in Waterbury was damaged by Tropical Storm Irene, the state needed to build a new lab. Constructing the lab on Vermont Tech campus was a great fit, and its presence will facilitate internships and employment opportunities for many Vermont Tech students and graduates.
