There will be one (1) commencement ceremony held on the Vermont Technical College Randolph Center campus on Saturday, June 23 at 10 am.
We will have interpreter services available at the ceremony.

All parking will be in the main parking lots adjacent to the soccer field unless you have special needs for yourself or passengers. Shuttles will be available beginning at least one hour prior to the ceremony (i.e. wheelchair, walker, or difficulties walking a long distance).
Special needs parking will be in the Morey/SHAPE parking lots; please follow road signs. (i.e. wheelchair, walker, or difficulties walking a long distance)
We encourage you to car pool since parking is limited. Most parking will be a 5-10 minute walk from the President’s House. Handicap and assisted parking will be available. Golf cart shuttle service will be available from parking lots.
Please plan ahead for traffic congestion coming to and leaving campus. Watch for volunteers directing traffic.
Please watch the weather forecast and plan accordingly. Commencement occurs under a tent, though you will process outside – possibly in the elements – before getting to the tent. It’s generally cooler under the tent, especially in the morning. Please be prepared.
We will have interpreter services and a special section for seating for those in need of this service.
All campus shuttles will stop running 15 minutes before the ceremony.
Please leave all non-service animals at home; they will not be allowed at the site of commencement.
The College maintains the expectation that all degree candidates will be appropriately attired and display acceptable standards of behavior.
Vermont Tech requests that no food or beverages other than water be brought into the tent area.
Smoking in designated areas only.
NO PETS of any kind are allowed on the campus. Please be sure any guests leave their pets at home. Certified Service Animals are allowed.
To be eligible to participate in Commencement you must complete the “Application to Graduate”. (See the graduation checklist for further information.)

Please note that Vermont Tech will not release your diploma or official academic transcript if you have any outstanding financial obligations to the College.
CAPS AND GOWNS:
If you are planning to participate in the June, 2018 Commencement, it is your responsibility to order regalia from University Cap & Gown. Students will not be permitted to participate in Commencement without appropriate regalia. See the Checklist for ordering information.
TICKETS TO THE CEREMONY:
Tickets are not required for your guests to attend the ceremony.
To be eligible for graduation honors, a degree student must:
- Have a minimum of 30 credits for a certificate completed within the VSC
- Have achieved the following cumulative GPA for all coursework:
Cum laude: 3.5
Magna cum laude: 3.7
Summa cum laude: 3.9
To be eligible for graduation honors, a certificate student must:
- Complete 50% of degree requirements within the VSC
- Have achieved the following cumulative GPA for all coursework
High Honors: 3.5 or above

A transcript is a copy of a student’s permanent record of attendance at the College and cannot be altered. Current or former students may request that the College issue an official transcript of his or her record to any school, employer or other agency. For each transcript, students must submit a written, signed request to the Registrars’ Office. A transcript fee will be charged. Transcripts will be sent as soon as possible. Please allow a minimum of five days for normal processing and three weeks following the end of a term. Transcripts will not be sent for a student who has not satisfied financial obligations with the College. Graduates will receive one unofficial transcript with their diploma when mailed.
