Commencement has been postponed, as of March 25, 2020.
If you’re eligible to graduate, you will still have your degree conferred on schedule; you will receive your diploma, and your transcript will reflect the completion of your program. Our goal is to help our seniors meet their program outcomes.
Sixty percent of the students who responded to the commencement survey indicated they would like to reschedule commencement to September during Alumni Weekend. Alumni weekend is currently scheduled to begin on Friday, September 18, 2020 on the Randolph Campus. We are closely monitoring the recommendations of the Governor and state and local health officials to maintain the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and guests and base our decision-making regarding all activities including our 2020 Commencement ceremony.
Please remember that there is a difference between the graduation ceremony and issuing degrees. The Registrar’s office will be processing the degree conferral after May 22, 2020 when all grades are in. Your diploma will be produced and mailed out mid-July, the degree comment will be on your transcript in June, but if you need a letter stating that your degree has been conferred prior to receiving your diploma, email firstname.lastname@example.org and they can produce one for you.
