Nursing is one of the most rewarding, eye opening and life changing careers you could choose to enter into. I love helping students make their dreams of becoming a nurse a reality. Working in the PN program I am able to see the drastic transition from nervous new student to graduate nurse. This is my 4th year teaching at the practical nursing level and started with VTC in the winter of 2018. My background includes Medical Surgical nursing, short term rehabilitation, geriatrics and a strong passion for maternity nursing. I have a previous BA in psychology and minor in biology. I received my Masters in Nursing Education in 2016. My family and I relocated to Vermont from Massachusetts 5 years ago and I currently spend any free time with my two daughters, my husband and our two labs.
