This course introduces the use of computer-aided drafting (CAD) as a drafting, documentation, production, and presentation tool for landscape design. The student becomes familiar with a variety of software applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and SketchUp. Specific coursework covers topics such as photo overlay; manipulation; layout; file management; image management and interpretation; composition; and presentation drawings. All work builds upon foundational understanding of digital files, organizational systems, and protocols.
