Vermont Tech is pleased to use Parchment Exchange to process transcript requests for electronic or paper delivery. This is a “green initiative” that provides you with the fastest delivery time through a secure website.
One Time Delivery If your intended recipient is not a network member (including a transcript sent to yourself), your transcript can still be delivered electronically to anyone, anywhere in the world. Receivers are designated and identified by you, the requester, through the recipient’s email address.
Many colleges, universities and other agencies are members of Parchment’s secure network and actively receive electronic transcripts. Please check network recipients to see if your intended destination is a network member.
Your transcript is never delivered by email — instead your recipient is notified by email that your transcript is available for pickup at the specific URL identified in the email. To insure prompt delivery and receipt, make sure the recipient knows that you are sending them an electronic transcript and will accept the electronic version. Finally, ask the receiver to white list email@example.com as a safe sender to prevent their email system from blocking the email.
To Order a Transcript
- Log into Vermont Tech transcript ordering storefront.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to create an account and place your order.
- Per Vermont State College System policy, NEVER share your login information with anyone.
If you need to request a transcript from another Vermont State College System institution, you will need to contact that school to order your transcript. Beginning with the Summer 2002 term, courses taken and grades earned at any of the Vermont State College System institutions appear on the transcripts of all VSC institutions. Please note that if you have attended more than one VSC Institution, you will need to create a separate account for each college you attend.
For each recipient request the following charges apply.
- Electronic Transcript copy $6.50
- Official Paper copy $7.50 does not include additional shipping charges.
You can pay for your transcript via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover)
You can check the status of your transcript request at any time by clicking on the link above, logging into your account, and selecting ‘Order Status’. You will also receive email notifications of your order status.
Please allow 3-5 working days for processing your request and up to 10 working days if your request is at the beginning or end of a semester. If you were enrolled prior to the summer of 2002, your request may take a bit longer to process as these records may not be stored in digital format. Any current or former student who has a “hold” on his/her account for any reason (e.g., unpaid fees or non-returned library materials) will not receive transcript services until all reasons for the hold are satisfied. Please note that charges incurred for a transcript request are non-refundable if a transcript cannot be processed due to a financial hold.
