An arts non-profit serving Central Vermont children and families.
Event Volunteers: Help with setting up events, decorating, serving food, helping children with art projects and cleaning. We also welcome volunteers to bake, provide music, or teach an art technique.
Office Volunteers: Help with preparing mailings and cleaning/organizing the bus.
Tech Volunteers: Taking photographs at events, creating videos for online content, assistance with website and social media campaigns.

Central Vermont Basic Education provides, basic reading, math, writing, and computer skills to adults and teens. Programs also provide individuals with preparation for earning a GED or high school diploma and help with learning English as a second language.

Chandler Center for the Arts is located in downtown Randolph and is committed to the community, bringing arts to them and involving them in community events.

Night of performance help; various building help; New World Festival; miscellaneous
Night of performance help generally involves monitoring the Intermission Bake Sale Table. Other jobs might include cleaning or maintenance of building, help with particular shows such as mini-mud, mud season variety show, or other events.

The Randolph Area Food Shelf is an all-volunteer organization that has been serving our local communities since 1977. Its mission is to provide food to people in need in the towns of Randolph, Braintree, Brookfield, and East Granville.

Must be 18 years or older for most volunteer tasks. Responsibilities vary by position but could include sorting food, stocking shelves, registering and checking out clients, or helping out at special events. Skills related to marketing, graphic design, and data analysis would also be valuable, depending on the position. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel a plus.
The Food Shelf storefront is open Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 3-5 p.m., Tuesday from 1-5 p.m., and Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Volunteers are needed during these shifts. There are also other volunteer opportunities, including special events and other tasks that do not require the Food Shelf to be open.

Randolph Senior Center is open four days a week for the public. We package and deliver Meals on Wheels to area residents, serve lunch at the center and encourage adults to come in for different activities.
Volunteer for Tech Support
Helping seniors to use their computers, Kindles, smartphones. Drawing up a plan for a multi-media service. Can be once every two weeks.

We have a 24/7 toll free number, and provide emotional support, safety planning, legal and economic advocacy, prevention and education and more.
