Did you know the average person changes jobs every four years? The dynamic job market provides incredible opportunities as our interests and needs change. But with these opportunities can come confusion over career choices.

That's why we established the Career/Transfer Center in Conant 200. This Center provides one-stop shopping for students exploring career and educational directions. As part of the Vemont Tech experience, students may also choose to participate in fieldtrips arranged through the Center. As pictured above, students get the opportunity to visit other cities, attend trade shows and meet with professionals in their field to learn more about their area of study.

The Career/Transfer Center also assists with career and college transfer decisions including:

  1. 1. Career/Job Information, including company literature, job postings, reference books, on campus speakers and corporate visits.
  2. 2. College Information, including college catalogs, applications, transfer scholarship information, and more.

  3. 3. Individual assistance with career counseling, career testing, resume writing, job hunting strategies, and interview skills training.

The Center publishes a yearly Outcome Report detailing the career and education placement of the college's recent graduates. Currently, the overall placement rate, including graduates having degree-related jobs or pursuing further education is an impressive 97%.
