Men's Volleyball
The men's volleyball program is headed by Coach Bob Gross, now in his third season at Vermont Tech. Volleyball kicks off in March and runs through April. During the 2007-07 season the team played a variety of colleges throughout New England. The highlight of the season was a trip to New York City to play in the York College Invitational against teams from throughout the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico.
The 2008 season will mark a re-birth of men's volleyball in the Yankee Small College Conference. Southern Maine and Central Maine will initiate men's volleyball programs and each will host a Saturday Festival. Hesser College will revive its program and New Hampshire Tech will continue its excellent program. In all, five YSCC teams will field a men's volleyball team. Each will host a Saturday "Jamboree" where all five teams join in and play round robin competition. The schedule will also include inter-state rival Southern Vermont College and other New England colleges..
