Loans - Entrance Counseling
Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling
If you are a first time Stafford borrower, you must attend a loan entrance counseling at which time your rights and responsibilities of borrowing a loan will be explained. Loan entrance counseling is a federal requirement and must be conducted prior to the first disbursement of a loan. Loan entrance counseling sessions will be held on campus during orientation weekend as well as at the start of each semester. Electronic loan entrance counseling is also available on the web at:

When you have completed the process, the information will be sent to the VTC Financial Aid Office. Please note loan funds will not post to your student account until entrance counceling has been completed.
