How much does tutoring cost?
All tutoring is free to any student enrolled in a current Vermont Tech class. In fact, all the service of the Student Support Center are free.How do I get a tutor?

If you can’t commit to a weekly appointment you should take advantage of the Learning Center in Conant 212. The Center is staffed with upperclass peer tutors from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Peer tutors can help you on a drop-in (no appointment necessary) basis.What classes can I get tutoring for?

The Writing and Communications Center is the place to go for help with writing. For more details, see the Academic Skills Coordinator or Professor Dawn Carleton in Conant 215, or by phone at 728-1221.Can I get help with things like test anxiety and time management skills?
You bet. We have staff members available to help you with these topics as well as others (note-taking skills, how to read textbooks, etc.) Stop by the Student Support Center office in Conant 222, or call 728-1396.Can I get help writing a resume and cover letter, preparing for an interview, and looking for a job?
Yes! We help students with the entire job-hunting process in the Career/Transfer Center, which is located in Conant 200. Many employers come to the Randolph campus every spring to interview students for both permanent positions and summer employment. We also have a software program called "Vermont Tech Connections" on our web site that enables students to post their resumes and search for jobs.Can someone help me figure out which career is best for me?
We have many resources to assist students with career planning: individual career counseling, the annual Career Fair, career field trips, various interest/skills inventories, an alumni network, and more.Can I transfer to a bachelor's degree program at another college after getting my Associate degree from Vermont Tech?
Yes! Many Associate degree students do this every year (as well as staying at Vermont Tech to obtain a bachelor's degree). There is a lot of information on four-year colleges in the Career/Transfer Center, and students can get assistance with searching for the right college, college applications, transfer scholarships, etc.
