Bridges to Vermont Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a non-Vermont resident entering the second year with a minimum GPA of 2.5. The student also must be actively involved in a college club, student government, or a community organization. Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in an associate's degree program, and the applicants must be contributing some personal or family funds towards tuition.Download PDF
C.V. Starr Scholarship
This is awarded to a Vermont resident on the basis of need and academic achievement. The award must be used to replace loans or work-study, and not federal or state grants.Download PDF

Awarded to students with the highest financial need. Preference goes to those enrolled in an LPN program or students in the Associate's Degree in Nursing Program. Download PDF
Freeman Nurse Scholars Program
This scholarship program is for outstanding RN students who wish to practice in Vermont following graduation. It is funded by a gift from the Stowe-based Freeman Foundation. The program has two goals: 1) Provide an incentive for excellent candidates to seek a career in nursing., and 2) Provide motivation for RN graduates to practice in Vermont. This is awarded to a Vermont resident who is a full time student at one of the Vermont State Colleges and has and interest in education. The nominees need not be education majors; interest in education may be interpreted very broadly.Download PDF
Stanley Judd Memorial Loan Fund
This loan is awarded to both in and out of state students that are either returning seniors in an associate's degree program or a bachelor's degree program. Applicants must have financial need and show satisfactory academic progress. The loans are applied directly to tuition, and the loan is interest free for 60 days after graduation or withdrawal. Then there will be an annual interest rate applied. Loans must be repaid within one year of graduation or withdrawal.Download PDF
