Savanna Stone

Allow us to introduce: Savanna Stone

Dairy Management Class of 2009

Savanna Stone comes to Vermont Tech from Sheffield, VT where she has lived all of her life. She has always been around farms and currently works on her aunt and uncle's dairy farm in Cabot. She also owns many breeds of show cattle.

Savanna has a dream of one day owning her own dairy farm with a diverse selection of dairy breeds. She plans on using the best features of all of her "Crayola Cows" to create a dynamic and productive milking herd.

"I believe that Vermont Tech will improve my chances of being successful and owning my own farm some day", says Savanna. She feels that Vermont Tech will give her a quality education while allowing her to stay close to home and allowing her to work and visit her family on the weekends.
