Residence Life

Residence Halls

Living on campus can be one of the most exciting and fun parts of college life. You are near your classes, can be involved in late night study groups, close to all of the events and activities and will form lifetime friendships. Residence halls can accommodate 600 students. The majority of rooms are doubles with a few triples. Single rooms may be available for medical reasons.

To assist you in making your experience the best it can be, our halls are staffed by a Resident Director and student Resident Assistants who have participated in a comprehensive training program and are ready and willing to answer questions about campus resources, discuss personal concerns and assist in making residential living as enjoyable as possible.

Mission Statement

The members of the Residence Life staff are educators who strive to promote comprehensive student development through programming and personal interaction and are dedicated to encourage students to take pride in themselves and the college in the pursuit of a positive educational experience.

Hall directors, resident assistants and the Director of Student Life offer support to students as they prepare themselves for future challenges by helping them to understand their limitations and to reach their potential through the exploration of personal, academic, social and vocational interests. Students are guided as they develop personal integrity and respect for others through an examination of individual values and goals as they relate to today's rapidly changing world.

Residence Hall Occupancy Requirement

It is a condition of enrollment at the Randolph Center Campus that all full time students who are not living within a 30 mile radius of the campus with their immediate families live in college housing for the first two years of enrollment. Exceptions may be made by the Director of Student Life upon receipt of a written request which details the reasons for the request and includes appropriate documentation. Students are advised not to commit to off campus housing until they have been formally notified of their release from the housing requirement. All resident students are also required to obtain a college meal plan.
