Students must complete each academic course in the foundational areas of their major with a "C" or higher. Any grade lower than a 75% (the equivalent of a "C") will be considered a failing grade in that course. Students may not progress from one semester to another without successful completion of all preceding courses. Courses considered foundational for respiratory therapy concepts are any courses carrying the prefix RSP or BIO. Assignments and exam grades will be calculated to the nearest “tenth”, and the final course grade will be calculated to the nearest whole number
