Students must complete each academic course in the foundational areas of their major with a "C" or higher. Any grade lower than a 75 will be considered a failing grade in that course.
For all NUR courses and PSY 1050: Assignments and exam grades will be calculated to the nearest “tenth”, and the final course grade will be calculated to the nearest whole number.
Students may not progress from one semester to another without successful completion of all preceding courses. For nursing students, courses which are considered foundational are all courses with the prefix NUR or BIO. Additionally, PSY 1050 requires a "C" or higher as a prerequisite to NUR 1031. Courses considered foundational for Dental Hygiene are any courses carrying the prefix DHY or BIO.
