Student Discipline Board

The Student Discipline Board is an appointed subcommittee of Student Council. When a student chooses to appeal to the Board, there will be a hearing in timely fashion. All parties involved in the hearing will receive notification of the time, in writing, at least one week in advance. The student should bring all applicable documentation. At the conclusion of the hearing, the Board will make a decision and send a written copy of the decision to all involved, the Residence Life Staff, Public Safety and the student within two weeks of the decision. The Board can uphold, overturn or modify the original sanction. The Dean of the College is the final arbiter for all discipline matters. The Student Discipline Board reserves the right to modify its procedures when the College is not in session or when circumstances indicate that special expertise is needed to assure fairness.
