Allow Us to Introduce: Peter Chapin A Western Massachusetts native, Peter Chapin received a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and is currently working on a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Vermont. He is a member of both the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). In the early 90ís Peter was also a member of X3J16; a technical committee charged with standardizing the C++ programming language. Peter is advisor to both the Computer Club and the Astronomy Club. He is also in charge of software development for the CubeSat Lab, a research collaboration between Vermont Tech, Norwich University, and the University of Vermont. After Peter finished his Master's degree he began his job search in New England and has been with Vermont Tech since 1986.
