Norwich, VT. – A farm in Norwich will soon be home to a dozen Vermont Technical College students who want to learn more about dairy. And the school hopes the first family might be interested too.

When the White House announced that President Obama’s daughter Malia would be attending Harvard after taking a year off, the president of Vermont Technical College saw it as an opportunity for an invitation.

“We would welcome her at the Norwich farm if she wanted to come and get a gap year experience working on a dairy farm,” said Dan Smith, Vermont Technical College president.
