The Vermont Tech Market Garden started on our Randolph Center campus in 2007 with the help of students, staff, and faculty. In the first year the garden was solely for volunteers and all time, tools, and seed were donated. The vegetables went home with those who participated and to others in the community. Extra produce was delivered to the food shelf.
Since it's inception, the Vermont Tech Market Garden increased in size dramatically and has become an integral part of our Diversified Agriculture program. We also have a blueberry field and there are plans to expand into other perennial crops.
