If you are a first time Stafford borrower, you must attend a loan entrance counseling at which time your rights and responsibilities of borrowing a loan will be explained. Loan entrance counseling is a federal requirement and must be conducted prior to the first disbursement of a loan. Loan entrance counseling sessions will be held on campus during orientation weekend as well as at the start of each semester.
