The Disciplinary Process

For most first offense violations in the residence halls, the individual will meet with the Resident Director of the building. For offenses committed in other areas of the College, aggravated first offenses, and second or further offenses, the individual will meet with the Assistant Dean for Campus Life.

Resident Directors dealing with a first offense have five business days after the incident to contact the individual charged. Business days over College breaks do not count. The Assistant Dean for Campus Life does not have a time limit, but will make a conscientious effort to contact the individual in a timely fashion.
