Thursday, November 19, 2009 Ina year when job losses, cutbacks, and the worst recession in 20 years have dominated the economic news, Vermont Tech announced in September that 95% of its 2009 graduating class have found jobs in their fields or continued their education.
“Vermont Technical College has enjoyed a long history of meeting and exceeding the expectations of students, guidance counselors and parents for the employment and educational opportunities it offers,” said Lauri Sybel, Director of the college’s Career / Transfer Center. “I am told time and time again by employers throughout Vermont, New England and beyond that Vermont Tech students are viewed as very desirable assets for their companies.”
