Amy Galipeault comes to Vermont Tech from Danville, VT and reports that she has "been on a horse since the day I was born." Amy's mother and grandmother both have ridden for all of their lives. Her family currently owns a farm and keeps five horses, one of whom is a Connemara/Arabian/Quarter Horse cross that Amy purchased as a six-month old and trained by herself.


VTC Students learn about Coffee Production

A team of 8 VTC staff, faculty and students traveled to Costa Rica in May to work with 6 coffee farmers on evaluating their techniques to produce organically grown coffee. Listen to the VPR interview with Lauri Sybel, talking about the trip and what was accomplished.
