Welcome to the Home page of the Vermont Technical College’s 2007-2008 Electromechanical Engineering Senior projects for the development of an Automated Wind Vane tester for NRG Systems of Hinesburg, VT. The Problem Our task was to build an Automated Wind-vane Tester, capable of testing centering, linearity and deadband of an NRG Systems #200P directional wind-vane. This device must also test the vane within a test time of less than 2 minutes and step not more then 1.8 degrees. Our Site Objective The purpose for this site is to give the viewer an understanding of all the basic principles and aspects used during this project.
