The Problem:

-To design an automated lawn mower that will mow a predefined area with little or no intervention from the user.  The predefined area will have little or no slope and no permanent obstructions.

 

The Solution:

-Our solution utilizes a rotary cutting reel, skid steering, short and medium range obstacle sensing capabilities, automatic return for low battery condition, and internal navigational abilities.
