Q: What is the Annual Fund?
A: The Annual Fund is just that: a fund made of donations to Vermont Tech that are raised and spent within one fiscal year.
The Annual Fund provides necessary funds for our faculty members, maintains small class sizes, supports a diverse student body, and enhances our educational and athletic programs. The Annual Fund is a critical component of Vermont Tech’s financial well-being and essential to maintaining the College’s tradition of all-around excellence.
Q: Why is the Annual Fund important?
A: The Annual Fund is critical to the operation of the College. It is our greatest source of unrestricted support and support designated for departments and academic divisions. Annual Fund gifts are expended in the year received and are applied to those areas of greatest need and opportunity.
Q: Will my gift really matter?
A: All gifts to the Annual Fund –regardless of size – are a statement of support for Vermont Tech’s mission. Your gift says to our community and beyond that you value your Vermont Tech experience and want to invest in the continued financial health of the College.
Q: How much should I give?
A: As you consider your gift to this year’s Annual Fund, please keep in mind that all gifts make a difference and full participation ensures we have a committed Vermont Tech community. Whether $25 or $10,000, your gift will be put to immediate use for the benefit of today’s students. We encourage you to give as generously as you are able.
President’s Club - Gifts of $500 and above
Dean’s Club - Gifts of $250 to $499
Century Club - Gifts of $100 to $249
Green & White Club - Gifts up to $99
If you are one of our valued faculty or staff members, please consider joining the “1% Club”. Your donation to the Annual Fund would be 1% of your annual salary. For example, if you make $30,000, your yearly gift would be $300 and the amount deducted over 26 pay periods through payroll deduction would be $11.54.
Q: How do I give to the Annual Fund?
A: Your tax-deductible gift can be made with check, stock, credit card (VISA, MasterCard and AMEX), online at www.vtc.edu/donate, or by payroll deduction if you are a Vermont Tech employee. Many companies offer matching gift programs, a wonderful way to double or even triple your gift amount!
