The Associate of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering Technology program is intended to advance airframe and power plant professionals for a variety of challenging careers in aeronautical, aerospace, and other careers needing strong skills in materials technology. Integral to the program is the FAA certified Airframe and Power Plant Program offered at the Burlington Airport facility of the Burlington Technical Center or holding the FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanics license. In conjunction, students complete the requirements of an associate's degree through additional studies in spacecraft technology, aerospace materials, English, communications, mathematics, humanities and social sciences, and the physical sciences.
The minimum number of credits required for a degree is 68.
